Honda's Star Racing Riders to make Personal Appearances
July 26th 2008 ..... HondaUK have upped their contribution to the Event considerably. As well as bringing along their Exhibition Truck, and the whole of their motorcycle range for demonstration rides, and their Technical Training Team ...... their top British Superbike riders* Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow, plus British racing legend Ron Haslam, will also be making personal appearances.
September 6th...... HondaUK have recently confirmed that all their Riders are still available and will be attanding. Ron Haslam may also be doing the prize-giving and saying a few words at Pontin’s.
*Personal appearances are subject to Race programme
changes and other
operational requirements, but Honda will ensure the best
possible
turnout
Champion Motorcycle Drill Team confirmed
September 6th.....The Drill Team will be arriving in UK on Saturday 13th Seprember
to acclimatise to Lancashire weather and do a little pre-display practising
on the loan GL1800's which HonndUk are supplying for them.
The Central
Florida Motorcycle Drill Team — still the Reigning
World Champions — have
agreed to display their incredible riding skills as part of our Promenade Display
on both Saturday and Sunday.
These guys are impressive! They ride tight circles, turns and crossovers in frighteningly
close formation in an amazing display of bike control and skilled riding.
GoldWing All-Clubs Events Calendar
September 6th.... Our All Club Events Calendar is proving to be very popular and received over 4,400 hits last week. It is open to all GoldWingers and all Clubs. Indeed, listings can be submitted by anyone who organises an event, meeting or tour for GoldWings – please use our contact form or email link for this purpose.
Whenever possible, we also provide contact information to help you find out more – usually by listing the relevant website. We do not publish organisers' personal contact details (especially harvestable email addresses!) unless we are specifically requested to do so.
Open Sunday Promenade Display - All Bikers Welcome
The Display Area at St Chads Headland (mid way between Blackpool's Central and South Piers) will be open to all bikers on Sunday, September 21st from 10am until 5 pm.
The Riding Arena will be active and the full range of Honda motorcycles will be available for viewing. Exhibition Stands by BMF, IAM and other biking organisations will be open.
All bikers are welcome and bikes may be taken into the Motorcyle Display Area on the Headland to be shown off to the public. Event Registration costs £3 per bike and all surpluses will go to charity. Please take care entering the Display Area, which requires crossing both tram tracks and the pedestrian footway. Marshalling will be provided.
