GWOCGB Support the Chester Event

In an encourging development, the Chester Light Parade is receiving positve comment on the GWOCGB Forum and GWOCGB Members are openly declaring their intention to come along – even though their own Club’s AGM is elsewhere on the same weekend.

The Event is also being promoted on the Cheshire & Merseyside Wings Website.

This is happening primarily because, Dave Crowley, the Member of GoldWings North West who was initially approached by Chester Lions at the Llandudno Light Parade and is liaising with Chester Lions, is also a Member of Cheshire & Merseyside Wings and he took the initiative, as a Member of GWOCGB, to post information on their Forum.  Although initially there was some adverse reaction this was set aside and a more positive response has since developed.

All right-minded Wingers will support this positive move.  This is after all a non-club, non-partisan Event in a charitable cause to which all Wingers will be welcome – and there will even still be an opportunity to attend GWOCGB’s AGM on the following day as well for those who wish to do so.
