The most famous and longest-running annual GoldWing Light Parade in the UK will take place on the evening of September 22nd 2012 in Southport, “England’s Classic Resort”.

This Website will tell you all you need to know about enjoying the most fun to be had riding on or watching Illuminated GoldWing  Motorcycles in a magnificent spectacle in and around Southport.  Visit here regularly to keep up with the latest news and be the first in the know as more and more detail about the Parade and associated activities is revealed.  Meet the people, hear the stories of their triumphs and tribulations as this magnificent Charity Event takes shape.

Those of you who are old hands can expect the usual package of a static daytime bike display, followed by a Light Parade around the crowd-lined streets of the Town at dusk, followed by a competition and photo opportunity at a display of the illuminated bikes.

We have also negotiated a stunning deal on accommodation and entertainment for 2012  with the Prince of Wales Hotel, so that everyone who chooses to can make a sociable weekend break of it.  We will also have an arrangement with a nearby campsite for people who wish to bring their own accommodation. The Organisers of the event would like to thank Wingers in the UK for their support over the years in Blackpool and Llandudno and invite them to try out this new venue, where we have already been met with good support from the local council and businesses.
