We recently had a meeting with Barry Walton at Colin Appleyard seeking sponsorship for the Southport Light Parade, the response can only be described as outstanding.
At best we were hoping for Fleeces and Trophies for best bike/best lit bike etc.

We came away delighted with the generosity and support of Barry Walton and Robin Appleyard having donated not only fleeces and trophies but a star prize which will be raffled to gold wingers only, it is TWO VIP passes for Saturday and Sunday (excluding hotel accommodation) as guests of Colin Appleyard Racing Team to any British Superbike Meeting of the winner’s choice in 2013, probably worth in the region of £1000. It will give the winner access to all areas normally restricted to riders and racing teams.

Further sponsorship was offered in the form of a trike to lead the parade for the celebrity to ride as passenger, plus the offer of a Goldwing to display in a sponsors shop window In Chapel Street preceding the event should they want to and a donation of £75 to help fund the light parade.

Colin Appleyards have yet again excelled in their support for the goldwing community which will benefit both the Queenscourt Hospice charity and prize winners at the event.
